In today’s rapidly evolving and uncertain landscape of international aid, national NGOs continue to play a crucial role in addressing social, environmental and humanitarian challenges.
This toolkit, “Mobilization of Resources by National NGOs”, which was first published in French in December 2024, explores the strategies and practices that enable these structures to gather and allocate resources in order to maximize their impact.
How does this work benefit national NGOs? It gives them an overview of the possibilities available to an NGO to mobilise financial resources. It also shows how an organisation should prepare for a sustainable resource mobilisation strategy ; detailing what needs to be included in such a strategy and highlighting the many ways to raise the resources needed to implement projects, in addition to traditional fundraising.
This comprehensive analysis involved 80 participants from diasporas, NNGOs, INGOs, Funders, as well as 400 respondents to our inquiry!
